Whoever said it wasn’t going to be the best weekend weather wise is right. It looks like it will be mostly rain all weekend. I didn’t write about the holiday weekend last year for some reason but I did in 2018, 2017, and 2016. Actually I did write in 2019 it was 70 to 80 degrees then and there was some rain but the actual holiday sunshine.

It is a whole new month and new goals.  I managed to clean out some emails and update a few files this morning.  Unfortunately it still takes too long.  I even tried to use the shredder and its still jammed (pos).  I appreciate people suggesting I take it to UPS and have them shredded it I don’t feel comfortable doing it.

My Friend Debbie and Stan got married yesterday  It was at their synagogue in Meriden and it was a lovely yet small.  The reception was held in the hall next door.  The food was simple and delicious.  Poached Salmon, macaroni and cheese, and a dish I can best describe as couscous, and broccoli.  For Dessert there was fruit salad, cookie assortment ( Read more... )

Today is Mom’s 88th birthday and Bob’s 67th Birthday respectfully.  It is also Bob’s Wedding Anniversary to Ethel.  I think they have been married close to 40 years now.  Ethel made a post on Facebook and I commented on it.  Liz liked the original post.  My gifts to Mom over the last few years have been a live birthday card (me singing horribly).   ( Read more... )

It iwas another cool and overcast morning here in Milford and it would seem it is the same way in Tacoma WA  where my Nephew John and his bride to be Heather got  married this afternoon.  I would have loved to have gone but with everything that has been going on I just couldn’t do it.  I posted a message on Facebook for them.

The Weekend has officially started.  I saw Mom last night around dinner time.  I brought some clean clothes for her and she was having dinner.  I stayed with her about an hour.  We talked about a lot of different things including her visit with my Cousin Bill.  I even got some more magazines from the recreation room for her

Had a pretty good morning despite not getting out of bed until 6:40.  I managed to get showered and dressed and out the door before 7:30.  The ride in was great for a third day in a row. It was surprisingly warm for what was predicted.
