Today is the day (originally) to celebrate the Mexican army winning the battle of Puebla? Now its more about the culture of Mexico. That includes the different foods of Mexico.  I plan on ordering Tacos for lunch later on today. I love Mexican cuisine.

I was just sitting here thinking this week went by quickly. This time last week I was doing the Finding Friends Trivia night and shoving an exorbitant amount of onion rings in my pie hole. That started my unhealthy weekend and eventual trip to the hospital on Sunday.

This morning I met my friend Joan for an early Morning walk at The Beaver Brook Walking Trail here in Milford. It is a beautiful nature trail once owned by the state and UI Company until it was burned down in 2012. There was some evidence remaining of the burned area but it was minor to the beautiful new boardwalk. Despite being near a railroad ( Read more... )

It was nearly noon and 27 degrees out when I started this entry. I had already been out for class at the gym earlier. It was sunny but very cold. I was really looking forward to going to the gym and to work with Alex.

I will be going to bed soon.  I have been surfing the net and updating my health blog with the latest walk I went on.  It just one of many great things that kept me busy today.

So glad today is Friday.  After the long week I had I am looking forward to the weekend again.  The weather is going to be nicer eventually. ITs in the high 70’s and cloudy at the moment The sun should be out soon and stay out for the rest of the day. Dealing with the aggravations of early to mid week are in the past and now look forward.

I feel like I am full of energy this morning.  I managed to get up and go to the gym and have class.  I had to leave it so I could shower, dress, and make it to the shuttle on time.  I did all that and managed to get coffee and got there early!.  I was the only one at the first stop but  by the time we left West Campus it was full.

Sunday was beautiful and chilly.  It's sunny and watching the planes making their final approach while on my morning walk was very cool.  The walk was about a mile and half and met some other residents that were on their walk.  This walk helped me get to 3K steps already.

Well I can actually say I was at the Vegas Strip.  We got there just about midday and spent four hours there.  M jokingly says we spent nearly an hour in traffic just to find a free self parking garage.  The traffic on the strip is always “bad”.  But the views and the activity sure makes up for it.
