Five Days in a row
I feel like I am full of energy this morning. I managed to get up and go to the gym and have class. I had to leave it so I could shower, dress, and make it to the shuttle on time. I did all that and managed to get coffee and got there early!. I was the only one at the first stop but by the time we left West Campus it was full.
So it's been five days in a row that I managed to get the shuttle. I will be taking one after my session with Debra this evening. My hope is to continue it for next week. I am debating whether or not to use the shuttle for Wednesday as it is also Meetup night.
We didn’t have any problems until we got to the connector into the city where we see the end of an accident. Three vehicles at different levels of damage. We didn’t have to wait long to pass it. From what I gather others did. Hopefully that meant the cops were there.
Since getting here I have been doing the mail. Stuff that came late yesterday and stuff that arrived this morning. I get the feeling someone somewhere has been holding on to it. It just seems like its a lot. I did say something to Supervisor when he stopped by on his daily check in. We took a few minutes to chat about the future office (lots of possibilities of what I might be getting at the new place). Nothing is in stone (at least the way I see it).
I am probably going to focus on the mail this morning as there is a one pm pick up for the day. I usually make my pick up rounds by 12:15 to 12:30 and they usually pick up by 1. Which really doesn’t mean much except for making sure all of it gets out. OF course it's a given that more mail to be mailed out arrives by the end of the day.
Well I am glad I checked in with Debra. I had totally forgotten that she is leaving for vacation this week. We may have a phone session some time Sunday afternoon. That’s the best I can do. I can’t remember the last time we actually had an office visit. That’s what happens in the summer I guess.
LL and I headed to the green at lunch time to see what’s happening at the Arts and Ideals festival. It's been on since the 8th and I haven’t been out to see what’s going on or taking part because I have been busy and have this aversion to coming back into town once I am home. It was a Latin Music concert and not well populated but it was nice to listen to for a short time. Luckily the rain never came.
The rest of the afternoon was spent on the mail. Both US and the Healthlogic. I finished it just after 3. I spent the rest of the time cleaning the desk for the weekend and taking it easy.
When I get home I will feed the kitties early and go for a walk....
