Well Good morning did everyone catch the last super moon of 2020 last night? I was able to and it was beautiful. I took this right around 9:30 or so.
I just read the next one is supposed to be in 2034. I will be 72 at the time. I don’t want to be maudlin but who knows if I will even be around especially with my health. I also believe that the way this universe has been changing we will see it again. AT least I would like to think so.
So it would seem I am not the only one with random friendship requests on Social media. Several of my friends and associates have had it happen over recent days. I don’t mean the ones that FB suggests but the ones that out and out seek you out on their own. I am not sure if I should feel relieved or angry that I am not the only one this happening to.
I was telling next door how I have enjoyed watching the mallards visit their yard every day and he tells me they won’t be coming back for a while. He took the bird feeder down for the season. The birds and fowl can find their own food for the season. I wonder how many people would agree with that. I decided to see what the net would say and I found this
helpful article from the Humane Society. I remember many years ago Mom and I had a bird feeder in the back yard and during a particularly rainy spring and summer the ducks started flying in and feeding as well and of course leaving droppings all over that part of the yard (that we also had our clothes line near) so she complained and decided to take the bird feeder down.
The trivia game was lots of fun last night Cyn was the emcee this time and we had 20 questions on cats. The five bonus questions had to be between Trish and GC. GC had Lucy her baby sphynx with her for a while. Cyn brought her boy cat with her. Where were mine? They were in the kitchen and back hall. Not once did they pop in like they have in the past. Little shits.
Well the clouds have rolled in and according to the weather report its 51 degrees out. It is supposed to start raining later on this afternoon. It will be a good day to sleep I think. It took me a while to get to sleep last night and I really didn’t want to get up this morning but Sky insisted.
We did our normal routine and checked in with everyone. I shared the above picture with various platforms and people. I think I may have fallen back to sleep on the couch for a bit before I turned the TV on. I don’t really want to sit and watch TV all day either.
I will be picking up the prescriptions that the hematologist office and Rheumatology office ordered for me later this afternoon. I called them this morning and the Vitamin D is ready but they are waiting on the Lovenox. That’s probably the only time I am going out today.
It looks like one of my Amazon orders should be arriving sometime today. I believe it should be the gloves. I won’t be using them for home as much. Maybe I will use them at work more whenever we return but I don’t see the need to use them here. Quite frankly I think I may have wasted money on that. The other orders are either in the process of being shipped or not being sent until later in the month.
I need to re-order some canister vacuum bags for the vacuum cleaner downstairs. I have one left. Livia changed it last time she was here and of course I don’t vacuum much during the week she isn’t here except for the litter when the titans kick it out of the box. I may have to use it when someone also sits on the kibble bins. I use the old litter canisters (they are plastic) to store the kibble in. I usually stack them on each other and it’s like 2 feet tall and sky has sat on them and knocked them over a couple of times this week. I need to shut them tighter.
I have a video chat with Debra this afternoon. It will be our first once since the quarantine started. I am really looking forward to this. She will send me the zoom link later today.
All in all a fairly quiet day…How about you?c
