Sunny again in CA
I kinda miss rain. Clear blue skies and 52 (headed to 72 today) in Santa Barbara. I haven't had much time to enjoy the weather, though, as I have had the flu (Fri - Mon). We have been planning the memorial, talking to friends and family and (for me) just recovering. Almost normal now, except that the cold I had before I got the flu is still there ( Read more... ) -
The Obit for my Dad
Thomas Miles "Bud" Oxford passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 28, 2011 at the age of 88. He had a wonderful Christmas with his family and had been in good heath and spirits. His wife of 61 years, Patsy Ruth Miller Oxford, passed away in 2008. Bud is survived by his daughters, Judy Jo Oxford and Tomi Sue Topinko; his granddaughters Tanya ( Read more... ) -
Yeah, its been another 5-6 months again.
Just an update I guess, for those who do not know... my father passed away this past Weds, peacefully in his sleep. He wasn't sick, he'd had a great Christmas with family, he just must have been ready ( Read more... ) -
Weird weekend
Been... busy with Scooer (cat) since Feb... and some health stuff with me. So, no post in long times.
Me, better now, except sad. My weird shoulder stuff is better thanks to physical therapy and my leg to dilegence on my part :)
Sad is from my kitty. Scooter had some fairly nasty issues with his plumbing in Feb, in April, in June and July/Aug. His ( Read more... ) -

Long year so far...
Was tooling along with the year, not much going on and so nothing much to say. I got back from Santa Barbara about mid-January. Had a good visit with family, helped my niece a bit with surgery recovery, and just hung out with family ( Read more... )
