Sunny again in CA
I kinda miss rain. Clear blue skies and 52 (headed to 72 today) in Santa Barbara. I haven't had much time to enjoy the weather, though, as I have had the flu (Fri - Mon). We have been planning the memorial, talking to friends and family and (for me) just recovering. Almost normal now, except that the cold I had before I got the flu is still there :(. I managed to eat a couple meals yesterday (YAY).
In other news, we got word on Monday that our uncle Larry Miller (my Mom's brother) died. He'd been ill for the last week or so, but I hadn't seen him in years. They'd moved from WA to Palm Springs area. Makes the past week kind of surreal.
Anyway, heading home next week, after the memorial this Sunday. Got relatives coming in on Sat for it and that should be fun, in a way.
