Yeah, its been another 5-6 months again.
Just an update I guess, for those who do not know... my father passed away this past Weds, peacefully in his sleep. He wasn't sick, he'd had a great Christmas with family, he just must have been ready.
It was sudden, so sad and we went through the whole panic thing... but now we are down to the calm memorial-planning stage. Sifting a lot of memories and calling lots of friends and family. Getting stories and making note on who is flying in when. Busy is good.
I'd had a cold, and got the flu a day after I found him, so am still trying to get well. It is New Year's Day and sposed to be a big family meal day, but I can't stand the thought of anything but applesauce and maybe steamed veggies. Blarg.
I am staying an extra week here, and I miss my husband like crazy. It will be good to put this all in a memory page in my mind and go home to my bed, my honey and my life. I am glad I was here tho, for family and for Dad.
