So, I'm back at work now so the "holiday season" is officially over with (the next cool thing on the calendar is Pancake Day!). It's been a slow start back which is always good so we can all get back into things and used to getting up early again.

Today was the last day of term and I'm now off work for the next two weeks and when I go back it will be 2016! I can't believe that. It doesn't seem that long ago when 2015 started! So, there were no surprises in the final of "The X Factor". Louisa won as predicted and the final itself was pretty boring. Reggie and Bollie were screwed over with the winners song though as it just exposed all their weaknesses. My bad toothache has come back - it's not quite as bad as I've had it before but it did wake me up in the middle of the night and I did get a very interrupted nights sleep because of it. Hopefully it won't ask for too long before it goes dormant again. I don't think the cold (and damp) weather helps too much ( Read more... )

I went back to work on Monday morning - I did find it hard to get out of bed that morning too. I think it doesn't help when it's quite dark and dull in the mornings. It's good to be back though, it's good to get back into the routine.
