Long time no post
So, it's been a while since I posted again so I thought it was time for me to post.
On Sunday we went to dinosaur mini golf for Jo and Vicky's birthdays. It was really fun actually. I hadn't played any kind of golf in ages and the presence of dinosaurs obviously makes anything cooler! I posted some cool pics on my instagram if you're interested. It would be quite nice to go again though. After that we went to Hombres mexican place for dinner and that was really nice too. Not quite as nice as Chipotle but still good.
I can't believe I only have four weeks left until the summer holidays. That's come round really quick. As usual we've got lots to do before the end of term and not enough time to do it in! Lots of children are moving on to big school too - it never gets any easier when they leave. I always miss them. It'll be interesting to see what the new children are like come September though.
In TV news: I'm still getting watching "Daredevil" - in fact I think I only have a few episodes left now. I thought the last one I watched was especially good. The best one so far I think. It was 1x10. I just wish the episode had just been about Matt and Foggy though as their scenes and flashbacks were much more interesting than anything else in the episode. I'm enjoying this show but not as much as I expected to.
I've also watched:
"Bones" - 10x21. I didn't think this episode was as good as last weeks. I thought it was okay though. There's only one episode left of the season now. I kinda hope Angela does leave (I won't miss her at all) but it's a shame she might be taking Hodgins with her. I didn't like the way they handled that though - surely there's an official way to hand in your notice at the Jeffersonian?
"Grimm" - 4x20 - I thought this episode was okay. Pretty good cliffhanger though but I didn't understand why Monroe didn't just run out of the way? And why did they give Juliette all of the potion instead of saving some of it, they must have suspected that she might just smash it? I think it's time for Trubel to come back now. They need her help now!
"Glee" - 6x03 - this show isn't really holding my attention this season. And I don't think it's realistic at all that that many of the older Glee kids would be willing to come back to school. Surely they've all moved on now? Plus people can't just walk around schools like that, can they? They must have some kind of security at that school? Non students or teachers shouldn't be allowed to just wander around.
"Resurrection" - 2x13 (finale) - I think this season has been quite weak so wasn't at all surprised that it was cancelled. I thought the finale was okay - slightly better than the rest of the season but still not as good as season one. I'm pleased that Marty and Maggie got together though because as the episode started I said to myself "I just hope we get a kiss between Marty and Maggie". That was honestly the only thing I really wanted to happen in this finale so I was glad it actually happened. It felt a little bit rushed but with it being the last chance it just had to be done that way, I guess. I wonder where season three might have gone if we were given one? I assume the baby isn't quite as innocent as they all think.
To sum up, I enjoyed season one but this season just wasn't as good unfortunately. It's kind of a shame to see it go but I can live without it.
