So, the "holiday season" is almost officially over. I go back to work tomorrow and I will be taking the Christmas lights in my bedroom down soon. It makes me feel a little bit sad when it's all over, especially when you go into shops and they've taken all the decorations down.
At least my shows will all be coming back soon - in fact one has come back already (quite early, I thought)
H50 5x10
I thought this episode was quite good - I thought the case was interesting (and had some twists and various possibly suspects) and the voice over from the private investigator was okay. A bit gimmicky at first but they didn't overuse it so it worked, I think.
It was nice seeing Ellie again and I quite liked the idea of her setting Steve up with a friend of hers - I think that shows that they're building up a friendship and not something romantic (well, not yet anyway). I quite like that. They're good together as friends anyway.
I also liked the scenes featuring Shaw this week and the scene between her and Danny was really sweet. I wasn't expecting something like that between them but it was really nice. I thought the scene at the end when she took his advice and went surfing at the end of the episode was nice too. I hope we see more of her character as the show goes on this season.
The stuff about Chin and Jerry was quite fun as well. I'm looking forward to some more serious episodes as the season goes on but this was a nice one to start the year.
