Suits 5x03
I thought the Mike and Harvey scenes in this episode were really good - their relationship is this shows biggest strength so it's a shame when they don't use it enough. I'm kinda glad to see the return of Harvey's panic attacks (I was a little disappointed when I thought that story was over before it really began) and I liked that Mike was there to witness it - it was nice to see Mike concerned about him and it was quite interesting to see Harvey being vulnerable and admitting that he wasn't okay and he needed Mikes help. I don't think Mike's really seen that side of Harvey before. I guess his abandonment issues are pretty big. I hope this storyline goes somewhere during the rest of the season. I think the scenes between Harvey and his therapist are quite good too - hopefully she'll be able to help him and now Mike knows I hope he can support Harvey too.
I also really like Harvey's new assistant (I can't remember her name?) - she's only been there for a couple of episodes but she seems like a really nice addition. I kinda hope she stays.
I thought the scenes of Mike working with Rachel's father were quite good and the scenes between Rachel and Jessica were also strong.
As usual with this show I didn't really care much about the cases - it's all about the characters for me.
I also watched:
"Stitchers" - 1x06 - I think this show has really picked up over the past few episodes and this was another good one. I wonder what's really going on and how is Kirsten's past involved in it all? I'm also still enjoying Cameron and his interactions with Kirsten are good.
"Scream" - 1x02 - there's definitely enough here to keep me interested and I kinda like that the opening scenes are the murders. I think that's quite good and works pretty well. I also like the way they're focusing on the characters and their storylines to build up the characters so people care when they die. I'll keep watching.
"Perception" - 3x14 - this penultimate episode was quite interesting. The case of the week was good enough but I think the most interesting parts of the most recent episodes have been Daniel's feelings about Moretti's upcoming wedding. I wonder if he does love her or if he's just worried about how their relationship is gonna change and that's manifesting itself this way? With only one episode left I guess we'll soon find out. And now that woman who has a thing for Donnie has done something with her. I hope they investigate and don't take that text message at face value.
"Glee" - 6x07 - I thought this episode was okay. Nice to see Will a bit more and I'm glad he left that other school. He didn't belong there.
In other news: today was the last day of term, we had to say goodbye to some lovely children who are moving on to school. Now I'm off work until September. I can't believe how quick that's come around and I have no idea what I'm gonna do with myself until then.
