We’re facing a foot of snow or better in the next 24 hours, and the phone and internet are *already* up and down like a windowblind today.  Highly annoying.  Comcast says it’s weather-related failures - which makes me worry about what we’ll do if we get first snowed in and then frozen with sub-zero temperatures!

At the end of this month, marmotgraphics.com will go away forever.  Seriously.  If you have email addresses for either me or Susan with that domain, contact me for the proper email address.  I am in the slow process of reposting everything that was on the old site into memnison.com, but I have limited time and energy and way way too much to do.

If this comes through fine, then the problem is that if I write something at 6:30 am and set it up to actually post in the Wordpress end at noon, what happens is that it ginks into that mess of One Link Going Nowhere that you saw.  If I save it again (not changing a thing at the Wordpress end) it transfers to LJ just fine.

Susan just gave me new marching orders on the basement to have it in ‘total’ shape for next summer. No excuses.

Which really means that I have to get the paper filing system massively reduced, the books purged yet again, and so on. And I am working on this, more than she thinks.

My ‘now reading’ section on the Memnison web site is being overhauled to add a bunch of things; I got behind in my reading of stuff, and I use this to keep me honest.   I have a ton of Sidewise reading to do.  Not all of those are up, yet…don’t think the short form stuff will work via the Amazon links.

My original online journal (no, I don’t call it a blog) was started in 1998, and has picked up considerably in frequency and output since then. It was (and still is) stationed over on my Marmotgraphics.com site, and hasn’t been updated since last winter.
