When I moved, the most noticeable thing for me was the volume of framed things (photos, prints, etc.) I had hanging in a really small house.  Several people actually commented on it. My excuse, mostly, is that I buy inexpensive prints or sketches when I travel so I have long-term souvenirs or reminders of my travel.

My family is surprisingly resistant to the idea of me moving.  They -- specifically, mom, stepdad, uncle -- are extremely attached to the idea of me in this house.  Part of it is the neighborhood and part of it is the very reasonable mortgage. ~  I got up at a ridiculous hour this morning to see how working out in the morning would go, in terms of scheduling.  Need time to get up, grab breakfast, tame the psycho hair, etc., before catching an earlier train.  It went fine, so I'll probably do that a couple times a week rather than going to the gym after work.

At the doctor's office today I:

+ got a tetanus shot, after first getting a disappointed look when she realized I hadn't had one in > 15 years.

+ learned that what I thought was a troubling mole appearing suddenly is actually just a skin flap, irritating but nothing to worry about.

+ got said flap snipped off.
