When I moved, the most noticeable thing for me was the volume of framed things (photos, prints, etc.) I had hanging in a really small house. Several people actually commented on it. My excuse, mostly, is that I buy inexpensive prints or sketches when I travel so I have long-term souvenirs or reminders of my travel.
Fast forward a year and a half, and I still have a bunch of things in bubble wrap because I don't know where to hang them. And several things that still need to be framed. Despite having much more blank space.
I stopped in a new shop in my neighborhood yesterday and found a painted tin square that I loved. (Actually, I liked a rectangular green one better but not the way it had been modified to act as a coat hook.) Maybe this will prompt me to actually hang more stuff.
