It has been a long time, so I'm just enjoying the fact that the Orioles have made the playoffs.  I want them to spank that pinstriped team because I always want that but it'd be even nicer in the ALDS.

But I posted over at WordPress about what seems to be a general opinion among self-publishers:  that editing isn't important.  I call BS on that.  If an author can't "afford" an editor as s/he self-publishes, s/he shouldn't be publishing.

While gallivanting around Texas over the weekend (Baltimore to Houston to San Antonio to Houston to Baltimore in 50 hours), I tried Big Red soda pop, which I'm told is a Texas "thing".  It tasted like liquid bubblegum to me.  Also stopped at Buc-ee's, which is apparently another Texas thing -- they had the cleanest rest stop ladies' room I've ever ( Read more... )
