I put Biz to bed last night after having 3 ounces of formula. She went to sleep and kept that down all night. This morning she gets up and I give her a 4 ounce bottle of formula that she finishes. My big girl can now hold her own bottle! Oh happy day!!

In the mail today we received our Judgement of Adoption! Biz is officially ours!!!! I can't believe it. She is legally our little girl. No more court orders, no more home visits - just living life with my baby girl.

I finally got Biz's baby book. Big Day Books offer digital baby books, so I go online, put in the info and print out the pages. This way I don't have to worry about spelling errors or how my handwriting looks or anything like that! Also, this book has a section specific to adoption. I ordered the "Pat" one. It is so adorable. We have now signed up for Wiggleworms. I'm pretty set on getting Biz some good interaction with other babies. This means I need to get the fuck over whatever stupid little social anxiety I have developed, suck it up and just deal with it. Miss Elizabeth April just rolled all the way over, from her back to her tummy, all by herself. She is very pleased with herself.

Final visit is done. I'm glad it's over. Our social worker said she thinks we are doing a fantastic job with Biz and the open adoption. She asked Val if we'd be interested in speaking with the next adoption prep class when they do the open adoption class.
