Final visit is done. I'm glad it's over. Our social worker said she thinks we are doing a fantastic job with Biz and the open adoption. She asked Val if we'd be interested in speaking with the next adoption prep class when they do the open adoption class. We'll have to see if Biz's birth mom is interested in that though.
It's all over now except for the finalization. Our social worker will write up the final report that is sent to the courts. In about 30 days it should be official.
I broke out my notebook last night and wrote a bit. Nothing great - nothing even good but I put pen to paper and that's all I needed to do.
I discovered today that I lack the ability to flirt - even with my own husband. What happened to me? On the plus side, I'm down 4 pounds. Only 13 more to go to get to my first goal. I'm doing South Beach and think I might extend the first stage by a week just to maximize the first bit of weight loss. Still working out a lot. I did 4 days each week the past two weeks. I couldn't go out for a run today because of the home visit so I'll try to go tomorrow.
