I finally got Biz's baby book. Big Day Books offer digital baby books, so I go online, put in the info and print out the pages. This way I don't have to worry about spelling errors or how my handwriting looks or anything like that! Also, this book has a section specific to adoption. I ordered the "Pat" one. It is so adorable. I figure I'm running low on time to get the big parts of the book done so it's now or never!
Val's brother is in town, kind of. He arrived last night and left this morning for Michigan. He'll be back on Saturday and then he leaves again on Tuesday. It's kinda funny watching him with Biz. She seems to adore him and he's incredibly gentle with her. Very out of character for him given how I've seen him treat other small creatures.
We have a sitter for tonight. It's date night! WOOHOO! We have dinner reservations at Mrs. Murphy and Sons Irish Bistro. The idea of contemporary Irish cuisine peaked my interest. It's fairly well reviewed as well. I'm excited! I think I might even dress up. Funny how now date night is important where as pre-Biz, we'd go out to dinner all the time and it was no big deal.
