Val's company picnic was yesterday. We haven't gone to a company picnic in quite sometime and I'm not really sure why we decided to go this year but that's neither here or there. I have decided that my scale is evil and should be banished. As is the typical behavior pattern for me, I start exercising again and then we go on vacation somewhere and I fall off the wagon and stop exercising. It has been well documented that my motivation to drop these last 25-30 (closer to 30 now) pounds has been exactly zip! Finally watched Rent (the movie version) over the weekend. I think I actually enjoyed it more than the actual musical. It had all the important musically numbers and most of the original Broadway cast which helped. I just found it easier to focus on the actual story and not so much of the production. 45 minutes on the eliptical trainer has officially kicked my ass. I really want to be down between 10-15 pounds between now and our trip to Vegas in April. Not going to get there sitting on my bum that's for sure. I'm eating much better but I just need to get the exercise part down. I know this means exercising hard 6 days a week.
