I wish we had enough slow time this summer at work to learn things. We were promised a lot of training at the end of spring, but with the new partnership we have too much work now. I want them to show me (or let me learn on my know, but on company time) how to write scripts to make our jobs easier. I want them to go through the various processes ( Read more... )

My presentation last night went well. It was a small crowd, only 9 people, and some of them looked a bit lost, but there were good questions and I got some compliments afterwards. Took the car into get an oil change this morning. And of course they found a ton of things "wrong" with it again. I guess my serpentine belt is cracked and needs to be replaced? I dislike insurance agents and their industry. We are trying to find insurance for Paul. He has one black spot on his driving record, which is two years old and has been taken care of as much as he can. But they still jack up the rates. The InDesign meeting last night went well. I picked up one or two short cuts and mostly just helped Cathy answer questions from the group. I like going to those meetings, I feel smart.
