So sore today. But in a good way. I got to play volleyball last night. Worked out my schedule so I was free to sub on a team for a friend. Got there a bit early (I wasn't positive on the time) and subbed on another team for the first match. I did really well in that first match, for how long I've not done any physical activity at all. I'm starting to really miss volleyball. I just don't have the time or money to play, so I didn't join up again this season. Plus the league pissed me off.

But I'm still on the facebook group, and I keep seeing all of the posts and how many new people are joining. And I miss it. I wish life wasn't so full of "things I can't do" and disappointment.

It's been a long time since I worked a Sunday at the mall. I normally don't because I have volleyball in the afternoon and the Sunday shift is 7 hours by yourself (it's slow). But we need the money, no one else really could (unless my boss/friend canceled plans) and I really can't afford volleyball at the moment. Which also means I'll have to take ( Read more... )

I have just been whipped lately, work is killing me. Last two weeks have been 9-12 hour days every day. It just this one project. However there is an end in sight. I'm thinking we can wrap it up next week. Which will be three weeks late. Work has calmed down to a dull roar. Still busy, but there is the occasional half hour or hour of slow time. Where I either have nothing to do, and spend it organizing and planning for future due dates, or I'm waiting on like two or three clients to get back to me on something. We had a great time on Saturday at our friend's Jeremy and Chad's house. Other years they have had a ginger bread decorating party, but after a few years of that it seems that new and interesting house ideas are becoming scarce.
