Battleground on Hulu is pretty cool. It's about a political campaign in Wisconsin. They had actual footage of Madison, the city I live in. They had actual local TV news personalities doing fake stories for it. They reference real places around town. It's been a long time since I worked a Sunday at the mall. I normally don't because I have volleyball in the afternoon and the Sunday shift is 7 hours by yourself (it's slow). I finally finished American Horror Story last night, the eps. were going to expire on Hulu, so I wanted to watch it before that happened. All in all, I liked the series. I finished season 1 of Teen Wolf from MTV. All in all, I liked it. Not the best effects, and the teen drama got a bit much sometimes. But I liked the plot twists, I liked the mythology, and I liked the characters. Stiles was awesome, one of the best comic relief sidekicks I've seen. I finished Glimpses, the Nightrunner shorts by Lynn Flewelling today. I picked it up with birthday money. It was good. Nice back story insights to the characters. I've been wanting it for a while now, happy I picked it up. Paul and I are caught up on Game of Thrones (thanks graeae). He's hooked, wants to get the books now.

Not much else up. Still healing from the shingles. Rash is pretty much gone, though my face is a bit numb in areas. And there is a throbbing pain in my cheek. I'm thinking I can shave soon, the skin seems healed enough for that at least.

I finished True Blood. I liked season 2 a lot. Now I have to wait until I can get season 3. I hear there is a lot more gay. :) Pity about Godric, I really liked him. And I'm wishing the best for Hoyt ( Read more... )

I'm enjoying season 2 of True Blood (much thanks to exarian for giving me my fix). I like the expansion of the world. I absolutely adore Hoyt, he's just awesome and I hope he and Jessica keep together (I'm only on episode 5, no spoilers!). I never really found Bill that attractive.
