Fraser came back in last night from badminton in pretty serious pain. Discussion was had about immediate medical attention but as it was now after 10pm (meaning a trip to Arbroath) we decided to leave it until today. It is hard to believe that his Nibs is almost 6 months old!  Took him to get weighed at the baby clinic yesterday.  I wanted to check about the weaning issue!  All the information suggests that you wait for the "sign of weaning" (feeding more frequently, waking up through the night, etc) before introducing solids.  My concern was that he is now ( Read more... )

Got a letter this morning from the Maternity Unit.  Questionnaires about how they can improve their Parentcraft Classes

It is postmarked Edinburgh!  In this day and age when we are all trying to reduce our carbon footprint, it is mad that a letter has to go from here to Edinburgh and back again to get from Maternity to my front door!

Well it is definitely snowing here!  Montrose rarely gets real snow, we are surrounded by water on 3 sides as a result of a tidal basin on the inland side of the town.  But when I got up at 8:30am is was snowing hard and there was about an inch of lying snow in the garden ( Read more... )
