I realized that I hadn't written in almost a month. Busy doesn't even begin to describe what I've been but I've promised myself that I need to tone it down. I need to work smarter and more efficiently so that I can leave school before 6 every night and I want to take less work home as well. Just a quick update on how things are going. Wedding plans are progressing slowly but surly. We have a meeting with a friend who wants to do our invitations today. We sent out our save the date e-mails to family. I have someone who will alter my dress. We know who is catering for us (Joey's) but not what we're having yet. Probably a buffet. Our wedding is in just over 4 months. May 23rd. I just finished the Save The Date image that I'm going to e-mail to the people on our guest list that have e-mail. A lot of Tony's family doesn't have an e-mail address so we can't send it to them. I had a brain flash this morning in, of course, the shower, where I get my best brain flashes. We've been really struggling with the idea of having a theme for our wedding. On Monday I went and Schmoozed at 11 of the schools that I have supplied at, well, one was a school I haven't been to before. I handed out resume's to secretaries, Vice-pricipals and Principals, spoke to teachers I haven't seen in a while, got lots of hugs and lots of compliments. We've been talking a little more about the wedding lately, more in the abstract way than putting down any details. We're waiting for job news still. We have some kinda sorta good job news. Tony's HR got aproval to hire him on full time, but not until October and his job will have to be posted and he'll have to interview for it and we don't know how ( Read more... )

It's finally sunny! Really sunny! Not just sunny breaks in between clouds and showers, it's been more sunny than cloudy all day long! I'm so happy to see the sun. I went out and read in the hammock for a while this afternoon and got too warm. It was fantastic!
