San Diego Comic-Con was fun like always. I'm looking forward to going again next year! Pricey, but worth it to me. I'm going to have to really work hard and save up if I want to go to both SDCC and Anthrocon next year. They're essentially back to back.

I'm here in San Diego for Comic-Con and having a good time! I've been to a lot of smaller panels, a couple bigger ones, and still have a day and a half of programming left to attend. My outgoing flight leaves at 10-ish Sunday night, putting me back in Philly at 6 am Sunday Monday morning. ( Read more... )

I've been up to a lot lately!

The weekend of the 7th and 8th were spent in NYC where I visited some friends and then mascotted in the Easter Parade with rapidtrabbit while wearing my blue bunny rental costume. Sam and I went to Furry Weekend Atlanta this weekend. We initally weren't going to go because our three planned roommates were complete flakes and bailed on us. We managed to find room space about two weeks ago, so we were able to go. My goal is to be some kind of serial entrepreneur, leading to my hopeful creation and ownership of a media conglomerate of sorts. We'd make movies and produce tv shows and print comics and have a record label and all that fun stuff. I got home from the camping trip yesterday, but I didn't have time to LJ anything case I took a nap and went straight to work afterward. I met quite a few new people who I probably won't see again for a long time, if ever, but that's okay. Seeing people from last year was nice, too. Currently on a kind-if vacation this week. It's a vacation in the sense that I don't ahve to go to work. But it isn't a vacation in the sense that I'm not getting paid vacation days. I'm just not at work. I don't earn any of those wonderful paid things until my 1-year employment mark next month. Blech.
