Back again
I got home from the camping trip yesterday, but I didn't have time to LJ anything case I took a nap and went straight to work afterward. I met quite a few new people who I probably won't see again for a long time, if ever, but that's okay. Seeing people from last year was nice, too. I'm glad the trip went smoothly, a lot of work went into planning it. And everyone loved the shirts that I designed. They'd better.killercacti and I paid good money to get those things done!
I noticed, though, that there were a couple instances of me developing an overwhelmed feeling and wanting to be away from the gruop. Sam was very understanding and took me to do something else in both instances. I suppose my year of being isolated from pretty much everyone has caused me to develop some form of social anxiety. I don't enjoy being around people the way I used to, and am quite content by myself. I suppose the heavy innuendo use among some gruop members (which I personally find childish and gross adn not funny at all) didn't help either. Meh.
Sam took me to Cracker Barrel on the way home. I still need to go finish eating my leftover biscuits! Today's I go back to the usual on my new work schedule. I work Fri-Sun and have offf the rest of the week. I don't particulary like the idea of three straight weekend days of work, but with all I do I think it works out better for me. When business picks up I might knock it down to only two days. We'll see.
