I don't know why I press myself to stay awake because 75% of the time it backfires. I tend to get droopy in the early evening but if I press on by 10 or so I'm awake again. Last night no matter what I tried I couldn't get to sleep until way too late. Not only do I not enjoy hot weather but as I get older it effects me quite adversely. We are currently in the middle day of a 3 day intensely hot spell - hovering around a 100 with oppressive humidity. By the time I got home yesterday I was so freaking tired and sore! Having to stand more or less in one spot will get to me more than doing laps around that huge warehouse of store will any day. I volunteered to work as a cashier yesterday for the needed hours and it wasn't so bad, mostly because we were busy enough to keep me occupied. I abhor standing around doing nothing because it makes the day drag into infinity. I don't know why people do that instead of finding something to do. So I finally had that follow-up visit after my breast ultra-sound. BTW, it was glad to see that I wasn't the only one who was a little confused that they only did the ultra-sound and not the mammogram. OK, so to recap, 18 months ago after my yearly mammogram they called me back for another look-see at something 'abnormal' in my right breast. I was on pins and needles for the few days it took to get back in. They did another mammogram of just the right breast, followed by an on-site consultation and then a really thorough ultrasound of the area in ( Read more... )

I went to bed yesterday afternoon (after missing a day at work) at around 2:30 pm in preparation for getting up at 10:30 pm to be at work by midnight.
