I miss playing for a team that I love. The eatdisc of 2011-2012, sitting ducks and dresden deckels. It feels pretty much like going through the motion these past couple of practices. I still play hard, with as much intensity as I can muster, but it's no longer fun anymore.

I'm starting to enjoy the "simple" things in life now. Things like taking a slow cycle around Dresden, just taking in the sights and sounds or just sitting quietly by the river, or standing on the Augustus bridge at dusk and just watching the sun go down around the buildings and people around it. So EUCR-CX came and went and we failed to qualify. We finished 5th out of 6, quite disappointing really. We took our first game easily, and lost on universe on the second, and it just went down hill from there. Today, I made my first ever aerial layout D. A layout D at neck level. Chasing down that deep shot, I knew I didn't have a chance as the shot was too well-placed, and it would curve right into the receiver's hands. But something clicked and I just made a bid for it.
