Apparently my rhs dance curse has been lifted, because the past 24 hours have been amazingly perfect. Absolutely no drama, yay! So the strokes (& the stills) were incredibly awesome on sunday, and now ranking as my favorite concert ever. We waited outside for like two hours to beat the crowd in, but it was so worth it to be up against the stage. Plus by the time doors opened the line was around two corners! Thanks to Pete I think I've just found my favorite new spot in providence: Seven stories up on the roof of the penthouse to his mom's office building, with the perfect skyline view of providence. The roof is even rubber coated and soft, rather than nasty w/ tar/sandpaper. It was so perfect up there, I just wish we hadn't waited until so late to ( Read more... )

After being outta the house and busy for the last 16 hours (yes since 6:30am *shudder*) I'm finally home.

Spending the day visiting my niece's school for grandparents day sucked about as much as I expected, and I particularly did not want to stay to watch my oldest niece (9yrs) perform in her play tonight...but I did anyways.
