does it get any better?!
Apparently my rhs dance curse has been lifted, because the past 24 hours have been amazingly perfect. Absolutely no drama, yay! So minus one sucky dj who literally had nothing besides rap, the prom was fantastic and by far the best rhs dance ever. I guess the dj wasn’t informed that the school is for white preppy kids…but then again, when is the dj ever good? At least they played a couple slow songs. So the food was actually good, and resembled nothing close to the wriggling, mooing, meat of Monday’s senior dinner. Everything looked all pretty and nice, and the chocolate coins on the tables were a particularly nice touch. I took loads of pictures, which will be going up later today after I sleep more. Yeah so my mom stayed out till 3am = much fun was had. Leftovers were good :)
The only sucky part was getting up at 6:30am, after going to bed only 3 hours earlier. Somehow I managed to drag myself off the couch, and become awake enough to drive vera home, and mentally prepare myself for a grueling day of work. So I show up at like 8ish, and andy calls saying he’ll be there by 9. In the meantime I nap…I love having a comfortable car. Yes so 9:30 he shows up, and seeing as rain is coming, work is off…but as I tell him about the awesomeness of prom he tells me to go home and rest and that he’s giving me 5 hours of work as my graduation present! What?! He must be the nicest, coolest person to work for, and he practically feels like a friend.
So obviously now I’m home. I’m getting paid for nothing, so I’m not poor for not working today. And now I’m going to go back to sleep…and look forward to the improv show tonight, red sox tomorrow, and the party tomorrow night…life is good.
