So the senior dinner last night at the potawamut golf club was...interesting.
Swanky swanky.
It's good to know that our tuition money has been used wisely, insuring we all have chocolates with the rhs seal at each place setting. Not to mention our beautiful class gifts: a rhs tie (must be worn on graduation), and a brass key chain. But with all the swankiness, you'd think they could've cooked the steaks through; I think I heard some of them still mooing in pools of blood.
Yeah it certainly wasn't too enjoyable, however there were a couple good points. Got to see everyone that I haven't seen since school ended. Apparently Hopee is now black (refer to my album for verification). Farley made a truly sincere speech, and looked like he was about to cry by the end. Definitely gonna miss him. This was especially refreshing after Young's bs speech mentioning how he personally related to so many students(Maya I'm sure he talked to you when you read under trees all the time, right?). Ten bucks says he can't name everyone in our class. Anyways, Coes made a slide show of our years there, which we most enjoyably watched while seated on the floor. Hard to believe some of those pictures from freshman year are the same people.
Some have changed so much...and some not at all. I definitely believe I fall in with the first. I look back on who I was freshman year and shiver; I've come a long way.
Until now, graduation has seemed so distant and surreal, but last night it hit me that it's nearly here. I'm still psyched about it, but it's kinda feeling like the last day of school all over again.
