sun is fun
spent the day fixing a leak on a roof in lincoln and it was fucking hot up there. By the end of the day the heat had taken its toll, plus I was super pissed that I didn't get to go to the beach with everyone :(
so jealous!
Then I was planing on spenting time with steve and nick until I went to carisa's, but I didn't get home till 5:45, and they were going to dinner in an hour, so it was pointless. It was now been three full weeks since I've spent any time with them...I think I might go insane! Its just so unnatural and weird...they're my brothers and I'm used to seeing them at least once a week.
Hopefully tonight at carsa's will help balance out the suckiness of my day.
But I did have two pleasurable things happen today: Taking an ICE COLD shower after 9 hours in the heat was a wonderful thing. And more importantly I spent that time on a roof without my shirt on, so I effectively eliminated my farmers tan in only one day.
Speed tanning = cancer, yay for me and my tanish skin!
Kinda burnt my back a bit, not too painful, and the prospect of it also being tan in a day makes it all worth it. Guess I'm gonna get super tan working on the roof a barn for the month of june; definitely be usin sun block then. My goal was to get more tan than vera & company who were at the beach. 10 bucks says after a day at the beach vera's still white :) (i'm gonna pay for that later).
