fanTAStic two days.  how could they not be?  I spent three hours yesterday walking through the woods in the snow, watching foxes and deer slip away from the sound of my approach, and the light change from gray to white to gold, blue and pink as the sun set.  I watched the river rush and tumble in some places, and freeze so solid I could walk on it ( Read more... )

my bones are aching to be back in a big city.  I'm not sure when it started, but I've only woken up to that realization recently.  still, I just feel sure of it, and I suddenly need to be up and moving, seeing and exploring and experiencing new worlds.  I miss all the good parts of London, and all the newness, the freshness, of Athens and Berlin ( Read more... )

today I went to visit my brother at the summer camp where he's working and living all summer - it was good.
