I got the job in Baltimore! I am accepting it! I am psyched to be working in my field, even during a recession, within six months of graduation, and in the city in which I want to live!

I will be home on the 23rd and I can't wait to see you all!

I'm moving to Brooklyn. I almost gave up and moved home, but it turns out I'm too stubborn.

of the last 48 hours, I have spent:
- 24 working on The Preface
- 9 working on a paper that I've just discovered isn't due until Thursday
- 7 sleeping
- 5.5 at work
- 2.5 in class

and now I'm up at 7:00 to go on a photography expedition.

9:31 a.m. update: aaand my other camera's broken.  two down.  awesome.

in good ways and bad ways.

oh yeah, and I sent my Random House and Penguin applications on saturday night.  I'm trying not to rethink them thirty times now that they're in, but I'm an obsessive person and that's what I'll likely do.

1. my alarm clock reset itself in the night and didn't wake me up at 8:00 am like it was supposed to, so I got lots of sleep.
