First round picks: 7 for 8, bitches! And that one I missed went to overtime Game 7. None too shabby, I do say so myself. Three series went to Game 7s, and in each one the team I was rooting for lost. Ugh.

Well, after an absolutely pathetic 3-for-8 in last year's first round, I redeem myself by going 7-for-8 this year. Kneel before me! This was the roughest playoff round I can ever remember. I thought the playoffs weren't supposed to have as many fights and things. Shows what I know.

I just voted online for the NHL All-Star Game. Sadly, I could not bring myself to vote for Scott Gomez. It was weird because I picked both goalies quickly, the Western Conference defensemen and the Eastern Conference forwards quickly, and then really struggled to pick any Eastern Conference defensemen or Western Conference forwards.
