My dad has been on a stuffed cabbage kick as of late. Perhaps it's the holidays making him think of his mother, or simply thinking of meals past. He mentioned it to a coworker, apparently, who also is Polish and whose mother also makes cabbage rolls from time to time. After dad got home from work today, he turned on the TV and started flipping around. It wasn't long before he came across the Polish Constitution Day Parade, which lists itself as the largest such parade outside of Poland. I am so thrown off this week. Working that extra day has addled my brain. Yesterday seemed like Wednesday, and today seemed like Thursday. Mix in general exhaustion, and I'm lucky I still know my own name. Worse, I was really crabby this morning, which always makes the day so much better.
