 So, in a fit of creativity/craftiness, I headed out to the fabric store to get some patterns for fabric I had bought a few summers ago to make skirts. I wound up coming home with three patterns, and enough fabric for three new skirts. (How can you say no to $1.50/yd fabric? Honestly. First day back at work. It was great to be back. Although, I must confess, it will take a little more time to adjust than I previously thought. Working at Klinck must have influenced me more than I thought. For example, today while I was out at the front desk, a patron came up and said, "Do you have [book title]?"

Seems it's been raining the better part of the week. Which is fine... except it makes me want to stay indoors and knit more than is probably healthy for me. So, I've indulged somewhat.

Christmas break is finally here! And it's been here... for about a week. I've already been pretty productive (for relaxing on break anyway). Visited Drew in Kaukauna for a nice long weekend, full of snow and Christmas presents and spending quality time together. Such a delightful day yesterday. I have Fridays off work, since they're only giving me 30 hours a week this summer. I'm glad- I need some time to myself, and having 3 days weekends is kind of appealing, even though I do love my library friends. Scratch that. Library family.
