Despite the sound of the title, I really am excited about grad school. I go between apprehension and nervousness, and excitement, to be honest. Excitement always wins out, though.  Today's plans:
1. Clean room
2. Go to library and release my inner bibliophile
3. Oaktoberfest tonight with the girls! (Although not excited about the $6 beers... >.>)

 I've decided to start compiling a list of things that make me happy. Just to put it out there.

1. A well-poured glass of a quality beer. Warsteiner is currently my favorite, but I'm always willing to try a new brew.

Yay! He'll only be about 3 hours away, which means we'll hopefully be able to see each other a bit more. Or, in Drew's words, "I'll be able to bug you." And the best part? He's in Packer, beer, and cheese (ZOMG, THE CHEESE !!!! CHEEEEEEEEEEEESE.) country. Needless to say, I'm just a bit jealous. Only a bit.

So, we're all set to go home for Easter break. Four of us driving back home for the nice, long, "relaxing" weekend... and last night, our ride cancels on us. Out of the blue. Bought yarn today. Jo-Ann's on huge sale. Soft yarn for hand warmers, more for the snowmen, and now SOCK YARN! :D So beautiful... but it'll probably be a while before I get up the gumption to attempt socks. Only thing missing is my red wool for my touque... but in good time. Can't have too many projects going at once, you know. ;)
