It's been pretty cold since before New Year. I don't think the temperature's been above 4°C in the last ten days or more. There have also been some decidedly wet (and even sort-of snowy) days either side of New Year. We're making slow progress with the pond, but the weather's not always been helpful, so other garden tasks have also been done. At this time of year that means quite a bit of leaf-sweeping and a little trimming and pruning where necessary. On Tuesday morning I had a dental appointment. After it I dropped by a friend's place for a cold drink and a chat, and got home a bit after noon, by which time the dentist's anesthetic was wearing off.
