Since last Sunday the outside temperature has been below zero (as far as I can tell) pretty much the whole time. It's also been very dry. I'm sure, if we wanted to, we could go for a walk along even the usually most muddy parts of the local footpaths. I've been over to Gravesend for gaming on both the Fridays since my last post. Jackie has also been there both times. I don't recall what (if anything) we played on the first occasion, but this last Friday we played "Cytosis", a worker-placement game based on cell bio-chemistry. We hung around for a while on Thursday morning waiting for the internet provider's engineer, but then decided it was time to go out for lunch. Half-way through lunch we got a call from the engineer. One casualty of the heavy rain early on Tuesday morning was the main internet connection here. I've been living off tethered mobile phone connectivity since then, and it's not quite as reliable as one might like.
