Life just keeps getting better and better.

And that's about as much as I can stand of talking about life lately.

What a happy home it is where the most significant things you say to your other for days are, "you know, you get more like your father everyday," and "you're a grown up. You can figure out dinner."

I'm so tired of being both wife and mother to the same damned person.

I think Paul is trying to come up with a new normal for himself, too, with mixed results. He's doing okay about feeding himself (and even feeding me), and being a bit more domestic. Actually, he's always been pretty helpful with the domestic things.  He doesn't seem to be handling the spending more time solo part so well, though. Don't get me wrong ( Read more... )

Guess what I just found as I was packing?! Paul's "wardrobe", the one I hinted about here. All of them. They were tucked away really well under a soy candle in a side pocket of the Black & Decker bag. Kewl!

 I didn't have it together enough to make a card for Paul this year, but a card with a key on it caught my eye while shopping. Since "Cute Story #1" involves a key......you know how it goes.
