A restless sleep filled with dreams of escape and an extraordinary amount of snogging of someone who is not my husband, someone redheaded and dear.  Can't afford a plane ticket out of here. I'm going back to bed.

Life just keeps getting better and better.

And that's about as much as I can stand of talking about life lately.

It seems like it's been weeks since I was last able to crank out a decent weekly bulleted update---or any kind of update, really. I keep waiting for the increased sunlight of spring to bust loose the dam of malaise and ennui  and get my inner river flowing again. Oh crap. Did you read that load? It's not some deep, dark, dramatic depression. Just feeling a little blue. It's a lot of things. The lingering winter. The impending birthday that puts me on the downhill side of my 40's.
