Yes, I know I've been home  a week, and I'm just now getting around to posting. My life is a rubber room, and I've been busy bouncing off the walls---lots of motion, but not getting much of anywhere.

The thing about optimism is that you can pummel it, kick it, beat the everloving hell out of it, but it's nearly impossible to kill it. I think I posted the lyrics to this song some time ago, but I love this song. 

 This week's new favorite song: k.d. lang "I Dream of Spring". This week's new favorite album is Peter Madcat Ruth's "More Real Folk Blues", but you can't even get that one on his website yet. You have to get it from him.

Of course, I'm still all gaga over Robert Plant & Alison Krauss' " Raising Sand", too.
