Last week I got more Davey and Goliath disks at Dollar Tree. It's a set of four, and I got three for Ric to complete his collection, and the four for me. We missed It's Alive on Saturday, but we went to Bruce's, we had to try to get his internet phone system going. You use an on line connection to make calls over the net with a regular phone, and he can get his messages on the net anywhere, plus logs of his calls. Last night it was more computer and Bruce fun as we got Bruce's new jazz production computer going and made the first DVDs with it, and Hobnose tried a beta version of Windows 7. This week I helped my friend Bruce fix his water heater. He lost his hot water one day and found a hole in the bottom of the tank, and a few inches of water on the basement floor. He tried to put a big screw in the hole to stop the water just for a while, until he could get it repaired, but that didn't hold, too much pressure ( Read more... )
