As ordered requested, I am putting together a brief overview of the Oscars. Red carpet, that is. Have to say on the actual ceremony, heard that Beyonce ended up singing 'Listen', the big showpiece song of Dreamgirls. I am completely shocked if this true. Surprised beyond belief.

The Bafta red carpet on E! is really, really not much good. Too much annoying presenters, not enough dresses. Okay, so it's raining and people are under umbrellas, but those are see-through brollies - a few more sweeping shots of the red carpet and less of the presenters yapping on would be good. Alas, there is nowhere near the same level of pictureness for the Screen Actors Guild awards, which is a shame as a few dresses I adored I cannot find a photo of them.
