The Bafta red carpet on E! is really, really not much good. Too much annoying presenters, not enough dresses. Okay, so it's raining and people are under umbrellas, but those are see-through brollies - a few more sweeping shots of the red carpet and less of the presenters yapping on would be good. I remember it being not so impressive last year. Next time around I'll not bother. Meh. *switches over* Maybe there'll be pictures online later and if not... There's always the actual ceremony later. The Sky News coverage is better but that's really not saying much.
Looking at the red carpet pictures on Getty Images, I'm feeling underwhelmed by what I see, probably not helped by the bad weather.
Renee Zellweger - I like that they tried to do something different with the back but I just don't think the dress works on Renee. The front is uninspiring.
Charlize Theron. Nothing bad but nothing exciting. Like the hair and earrings, though.
George Clooney. He's wearing a black tie suit and being George Clooney. 'Nuff said.
Rachel Weisz. Kinda untidy looking, though to be fair, it's probably windy down south.
Well, Thandie Newton, at least you're interesting. Um.
Michelle Williams. The dress was going so well and then the white trailing along the red carpet ruins it.
Christina Ricci. Not the most flattering dress on her.
Ziyi Zhang adds some much needed shiny glamour but that dress looks like it needs hiking up, or some straps.
Mischa Barton. Hmmm.
Felicity Huffman. Let me down, tsk. It's all creased!

Jane Seymour, brightening things up in blue. Not sure I like that shade, though.
