I left a message with my realtor's partner informing them of my predicament of having a condo for sale, but no house to move into. I'll be looking into alternate houses.  The lady who looked at my condo (instead of the one next door) is very allergic to cats. As in, she had to leave the condo tour early because it was getting to her. Another bust...

Got a call from my realtor's partner a few minutes ago with results from the last three showings...One wasn't interested, one decided to buy another place, and the third decided to up their price range so they can afford a garage (my place has a double carport). I was told (again) that my condo showed well. Just haven't had the right buyer see it ( Read more... )

I suppose I was fortunate, this time. The realtor called about 1:30 pm (I think) Tuesday afternoon, and left a message. When I later listened to the message, it said that the realtor was going to show the condo at 7-7:30pm, unless she was called back. NOT the way you want to wake up before going to work....

I'm working three consecutive nights-Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I sleep late morning and all afternoon. I have to ignore the phone to get rested before working a 12+ hour night. I got a phone call about 1:45pm Saturday afternoon. That 's my sleeping time (like quarter to 2 in the morning for you day-shifters). I received an email from the owner of the house that I want to buy. She is currently renting an apartment in California, and making payments on her house here in Illinois. She said that she was running low on funds, and that she had to either foreclose on her house, or put it up for sale to sell it as soon as possible ( Read more... )

No luck on condo-showing number three. The person who saw my condo was looking for something with a "more open floor plan".  I got the feedback that the place showed well, and that it was in very good condition, just not what they were looking for.
