Almost another wake-up condo showing.
I suppose I was fortunate, this time. The realtor called about 1:30 pm (I think) Tuesday afternoon, and left a message. When I later listened to the message, it said that the realtor was going to show the condo at 7-7:30pm, unless she was called back. Fortunately, I had time to get up and out the door for work, instead of being woken up in bed. I even managed to call the realtor and tell her it was OK to show the place this time, but that in the future it would be a good idea to clear the showing with me first, and told her what happened Saturday before last. I don't know if it did any good. I called my realtor about the showing (they like me to call so they can follow up with the buyer's realtor to get their impression of how it went), and mentioned the near miss with this showing. I get the impression there isn't a lot of communication, despite most of these realtors working for the same company. Or maybe this company is so big and successful, the realtors don't think they have to pay attention to certain niceties, like looking for notes about when it's OK to call or show the properties.
