I mentioned in an earlier post that I had someone show my condo unexpectedly...
I was up late (mid-afternoon), and had rescued a cat from the road and was feeding it when someone knocked on my front door. It was a realtor who asked if she could try her lockbox card on my lockbox to see if it worked. For those of you who don't know, a lockbox contains the key to enter the home, and you need to slide in a special card and enter in a numerical combination to open the lockbox to get the key. This realtor was actually trying to get into the condo unit next to mine, which is also for sale, but her card wouldn't open the lockbox. The realtor noticed that my unit was for sale, and asked to try my lockbox to see if her card would work in it. It did not, so the problem was with the card, not the next door lockbox. However, the realtor came back and asked if her clients could tour my place instead. I looked around, and saw that the place was not in perfect showing condition (there were dishes in the sink, I was about to take garbage out, etc.) but it wasn't too bad, so I said "Sure!". A couple of ladies came through, nicely thanking me for letting them look. I haven't heard anything from them, but they hadn't set out to see my place anyway...
