I've not been well today and have done little but read and doze. We're under Winter Storm Warning, so Kathryn's been trying to be sure we're ready for that. Our high today was 45F, after an overnight low of 21F.

Well, today was not as productive as I needed it to be, but it wasn't a loss. I made progress with "Terra Mater (Dissolve)," but I did not find THE END. Yesterday, I wrote 1,311 words and finished the first "chapter" of The Tindalos Asset. And I'm pleased with it. The Signalman appears to help open the story, but there's a new protagonist, Ellison Nicodemo. I'm 3,321 words into what I estimate will be a 35,000-40,000-word novella. The misery of March continues, though we did have a brief bit of sun this morning. I slept an almost unheard of eight straight hours, then woke to unexpected, unforecast sunlight.
